The Story Of MCG

The Mathia Consulting Gruup (McGruup or MCG) was founded in 2020 (Covid-19 era) during one of the most challenging times for small businesses. The unprecedented lockdown of cities across the United States essentially shut down local marketers and their means of generating revenue. The vast majority of entrepreneurs knew that this also meant the stoppage of cash flow to pay the cost for the business to operate. Because many local businesses were ill-prepared technologically and strategically for the Covid-19 pandemic, an increasing amount of employees were out of work and entrepreneurs lost their lively hoods by closing down their businesses.

The founder Alicious Mathia a Sierra Leonean American with Ghanian and Nigerian roots saw the predicament business owners in Houston, TX was facing and wanted to contribute a solution to the problem. His experience of struggling to run a non-profit (Murhero Foundation Inc.) during the Covid-19 era allowed him to understand that the success of any charitable organization is dependant on the success of our local and international businesses that stimulate economic activities.
